'The Sims 4' Release Date, Latest News & Update: EA Confirms Release Date of 'City Living' DLC, Introduces Amazing Features [VIDEO]

"The Sims 4" city life DLC finally receives an official release date after endless speculations. It was revealed that the update has been titled the "City Living." It was said that everything will change with the expansion pack and this could mean that the normally quiet neighborhood will soon be bustling with activities.

On Sept. 13, via "The Sims" website, game developer Maxis and publisher Electronic Arts, announced that "The Sims 4" City Living DLC is coming to PC and Mac on Nov. 1. Fans will get to see new things in the city once the expansion pack comes out on the said date. To get an idea of how bustling that the game will become, here is a partial list of things that will be introduced in the update:

Parties

"The Sims 4" City Living will get a lot of new characters so that there will be people to fill out the whole city and rooftop parties will be crowded enough to be called a ‘party.' The celebrity status and character reputation of each new character are going to be revealed so it will be easy to spot the famous ones.

Celebrations/Festivals

The "Sims 4" DLC pack will introduce various festivals that players can participate in. According to EA, there will be at least five festivals to attend to and these are Spice Festival, Geek Con and Romance/Fireworks Festival. Two more types are expected to be added soon.

Activities

Living in the city is hectic because it is teeming with activities to do. In "The Sims 4," some of the new activities to enjoy include street performances, basketball game, protest, eating contest, street art and graffiti, bubble blower and fireworks.

New Communities

There will be new destinations for characters in "The Sims 4." Depending on activities they would like to do, they can visit the Fashion District, Uptown, Arts Quarter or the Spice District.

Apartments

Finally, "The Sims 4" City Living will show a busy residential area filled with rows of housings and the likes. Those who can afford it, they can stay in a penthouse while others can choose to live in lofts, townouses and simple apartments.
