Microsoft Surface Book Set to Beat MacBook Pro 13

Microsoft Surface Book is set to outperform Apple's MacBook Pro 13 inch model. Microsoft has found its way around the gap created by the fulcrum hinge that did not get much support from users of the first generation Surface Book last year. The new design comes with a Dynamic-Fulcrum hinge that will make the display and keyboard flush when closed, similar to hinges in traditional laptops.

Another neat feature of the Microsoft Surface Book is the netbook to tablet like feature. The new Surface Book will come with a fully detachable stand-alone tablet that has touch features able to support pen functions. iTech Post also relayed of some rumors that Microsoft aims on revamping the product segment.

The included Surface Pen can be used to sign documents, mark-up presentations, take down notes, sketching, and so much more. It also comes with 1,024 levels of sensitivity. That means doodling in Fresh Paint can become realistic like drawing on paper.

Other upgrades found in the new Microsoft Surface Book include Intel's Kaby Lake series of chipsets, second generation USB 3.1 ports, as well as a new graphics architecture that will support a resolution of 4K Ultra HD, VR gaming, and high resolution 3D graphics for video playback and gaming.

Another model that Microsoft made added discrete Nvidia graphics. The best of the best is the Surface Book that comes with a Core i7 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and Nvidia graphics with 1 TB of storage.

The Microsoft Surface Book will be launched later this year just in time for Christmas. The Surface Book 2 is a start, but Microsoft will also be launching the Surface Pro 5 as well. MobileSyrup reports that a third Surface Book device that will have a 21-inch (1080p), 24-inch (4K), including a 27-inch (4K). The device reportedly will be called the Surface All-in-One but is still not expected to come out this year.

Both Microsoft Surface Book and Apple's MacBook Pro are on par with speed performance, but the discrete graphics version of the Microsoft Surface Book reportedly performs faster than its counterpart. Other features are a 6th-Gen Intel Core i5 processor, an 8GB of RAM and a 128GB of storage.
