‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Release Date, News & Update: Release Far From Reality As Rockstar Games No Show In Sony Playstation Meeting

It has been a slur of disappointments for "Red Dead Redemption" fans all over the world. As the much awaited sequel "Red Dead Redemption" has been teased to debut several times this 2016 but to no fruition.

No 'Red Dead Redemption 2' Found On Playstation Meeting

The latest disappointment came in just last week as "Red Dead Redemption" developer Rockstar Games was a no show in Sony's recent Playstation meeting. With an event as big as this, that came with the release of the new PS4 Pro, it would be enticing to make the most out of the situation.

What better way to accumulate as much attention as possible to debut such popular game like "Red Dead Redemption 2." Apparently, Rockstar Games was thinking otherwise.

Will 'Red Dead Redemption 2' Ever See The Light of Day?

With a massive hit like "Red Dead Redemption" being left with no clue of a sequel even after 6 years since it was released. Does Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive even plan of doing so?

The answer to that is, yes. Undeniably still one of the most sought after games this 2016, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is just waiting around the corner. In fact, here is what Take-Two Interactive's CEO Strauss Zelnick had to say about "Red Dead Redemption" and "Red Dead Redemption 2."

"It seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise," he said, adding "the risk of just [releasing more games] is that you end up just bulking up your release schedule and that isn't really what consumers want. Consumers want better, not more."

So for "Red Dead Redemption" fans, just keep your heads up as it seems that the game developers have no plans of leaving its followers hanging. Stay tuned to Game & Guide for more "Red Dead Redemption 2" news!
