Minecraft Xbox One S Bundle Release Date, News & Update: Now Available in US, Canada; Over 200 Skins, Packs Included

The "Xbox One S Minecraft Favorites Bundle" is set to launch soon. Microsoft is preparing to feature the package, inspired by the hit builder game, complete with skins, packs and excellent visual display.

Xbox.com reported that the Minecraft Xbox One S Bundle will include the Xbox One S console with 500GB of hard drive space, a wireless controller. It also has a download code for "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition," and an Xbox Live Gold trial membership for 14 days. Even better, the "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition Builder's Pack," which has 230 seven mash-up packs, three texture packs and 230 character skins, will also be part of the bundle. "Minecraft" fans should expect to experience the game in richer and more luminous colors due to the Xbox One S being a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player with 4K and HDR video capabilities.

The Minecraft Xbox One S Bundle features one wireless controller with added range and Bluetooth capability for Windows 10 PC. "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition" boasts of enhanced performance and worlds that are 16 times bigger than the Xbox 360 version. The Favorites Pack includes the Festive Mash-up Pack, Fantasy Texture Pack, Halo Mash-up, Natural Texture Pack, Battle & Beasts Skin Pack, City Texture Pack and Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack. The Builder's Pack includes the Candy Texture Pack, Biome Settlers Skin Pack, Pattern Texture Pack, Cartoon Texture Pack and Greek Mythology Mash-up.

The Minecraft Xbox One S Bundle only comes with a standard white design, compared to other game/console packs that showcase customized art on the system itself. This means that players will be putting their money on the game content, as well as the opportunity to play Minecraft in 4K or HDR. The bigger worlds and additional content are expected to boost overall gaming experience and offer more choices.

Kotaku stated that the Minecraft Xbox One S Bundle is already available in the United States and Canada for $299. On October 11, the package will also launch in United Kingdom, Central Europe and Western Europe, followed by Australia and New Zealand on November 1. Asia and Latin America markets will receive the bundle at a later date. More updates and details are expected soon.
