‘Final Fantasy XV’ Release Date, News & Update: At Least Seven Summons Now Available; Shiva Latest To Arrive

"Final Fantasy XV" is getting ready to launch soon. In the latest issue of Weekly Jump magazine, fans were given an initial glimpse of the Shiva Summon. More details about the "Final Fantasy XV" story were also provided.

Gematsu stated that Shiva is an Ice Queen water goddess who can be summoned in "Final Fantasy XV." When she appears, she creates cold air and covers the environment with ice. Shiva also produces several Shivas flying around in a wonderful scene, although the extra versions are like illusions and even better, Shiva has an attack called Diamond Dust. Not a lot of details about Shiva's involvement in "Final Fantasy XV" has been revealed yet.

It also provided a look at a new story scene with Lunafreya. Noctis was also shown, who traveled from the crown city to marry Lunafreya. In the meantime, crown city was betrayed by the empire. Noctis goes after Luna and ultimately reunites with her. WCCFTech noted that Square Enix has so much more to reveal when "Final Fantasy XV" releases. The game developer previously presented the Real-Time Technologies of Final Fantasy XV Battles, showing several debug menus at different times.

One of these showed information on summons and there will reportedly be at least seven summons in "Final Fantasy XV." Shiva will be one of these summons, together with Ramuh, Carbuncle and Titan Leviathan, who were confirmed to appear recently. "Final Fantasy XV" will have players travel different kinds of terrain in Noctis' car. Previous trailers showed the group of friends on a special road trip, which will expectedly bring new challenges, villains and rewards. "Final Fantasy XV" will also bring Wait mode, which functions very much like the traditional turn-based combat in the series.

Furthermore, players can customize magic and work with various spells to create different results. Magic in "Final Fantasy XV" will be more versatile, which could also mean that there may be new additions to summons. On the other hand, the "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV" movie already launched in theaters in Japan in August 2016. The "Final Fantasy XV" game is set to release on Nov. 29, 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. More updates and details are expected soon.
