‘Overwatch’ Latest News & Update: Hero Symmetra Gets Buffed; Plus, See How an Overwatch Pro Rips Other Teams Playing as Tracer

Symmetra, the least used character in the "Overwatch" game may receive its well deserved buff this November. According to game director Jeff Kaplan, they are not sure why Symmetra is receiving the treatment, but they are working on making her worthy.

Kaplan also added that, the team does not welcome a hero that is seldom used in the "Overwatch" game. Therefore, they planned on buffing her and all the necessary features to make her worthy of the game and the players' attention. Despite not mentioning any details of the buff, Kaplan in a statement said "She is a hero we'd like to make some changes to. I think those changes wouldn't see the light of day until November, though, because we want to do a bunch of internal testing."

Kaplan also stressed out that these improvements will come in an incremental basis. "Overwatch" characters like that of Symmetra needs a lot of internal testing and discussion among the team. He further added that the "Overwatch" hero has mostly been used as a defensive hero at the start of the game. Once players reached their goals, Symmetra is unceremoniously turned off. Kaplan wants to give the hero more game time in the "Overwatch" series.

The Symmetra buff is expected to arrive in November, primarily because Kaplan and the rest of the team have other commitments that needed to be finished. Meanwhile, an "Overwatch" Pro recently showed how to rip other teams in Tracer's position. Team Liquid's Kevin "AZK" Larivière demonstrated the act against NRG Esports.

Along with his teammate Adam "MESR" De La Torre, they battled against the NRG until they succumbed to their expertise. Team Liquid again, seals another win in the "Overwatch" Season 2 campaign. More "Overwatch" game news? Come back and read more here on the GameNGuide hub.
