'Pokemon Go' Release Date, News & Update: Niantic Executive Says Battle System Is Fun, Player Collaboration Can Take Down Gym; 'Clash Royale' Continues To Slam 'Pokemon Go' Trend?

"Pokemon Go" Archit Bhargava revealed that the game's multiplayer battles are going to be fun. He added that when two players from separate teams appear at a competing gym, when they collaborate and deploy their Pokemon to battle at the same time, these players can take down faster even a stronger gym.

"Pokemon Go" battle mode is reportedly included in the Niantic Labs radar. However, the Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara stated that the company is taking the time to release new features for the game to prevent overwhelming the new players.

According to Ishihara, battling is one category that they do best at "Pokemon." With that, he took note of the fact that it is important for them to consider carefully every feature that could enhance the difficulty as well as increase the barriers to enter for additional casual players.

Details about the "Pokemon Go" battle system have been yet to be announced, including how it will be played out and its release date. Nevertheless, Bhargava assures the players that they are trying their best to figure out what the experience should be, what the Pokemon experience should be like in the real world.

He also confirmed learning from Ingress, although he believes that it is going to be a very different game. He emphasized that they have a vision for Pokemon that they plan to execute, TCC reported.

Meanwhile, "Pokemon Go" has reportedly ended its long reign for being the highest grossing app for 74 days in Apple's iOS store. The game's former spot was taken over by "Clash Royale," which recently introduced new  microtransactions. There are speculations that "Pokemon Go" dropped, partly due to the game's fading popularity.

However, "Pokemon Go" remains a hit on a large scale in spite having peaked, and some believe that it is due to the fact that it is actually monetizing very poorly,Venture Beat reported.
