The fighting video game, "Tekken 7," has been a favorite subject of several reports for quite some time now. Ever since the release of the game in 2015, many fans have been wondering when will the ninth installment of the franchise will make it to consoles. According to the latest reports, game developer and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment will soon release a statement regarding the title's possible release date and plans for PlayStation 4 Pro.

Several reports have emerged suggesting that the game will finally make it to the console in February next year. The rumors started following a Twitter post of a certain Wonkey who revealed that Bandai Namco Entertainment will release "Tekken 7" early next year.

Despite the rampant rumors, the game developer has yet to issue an official statement regarding the alleged release date report. According to a report, many fans are skeptical about the revelation by Wonkey on Twitter. Critics are also asking for the validity of the source; however, all these drama about the release of "Tekken 7" will soon be answered by Bandai Namco.

There have been reports suggesting that Katsuhiro Harada, game producer, is planning to develop a DLC pack before "Tekken 7" gets post-launched. Harada explained that "Tekken 7" must be released to consoles as a package to improve gaming experience. The game producer of the series has also shut down the rumor that the new title will feature a cross-platform gameplay. He said that allowing all gaming platforms to play together will only give PC players an opportunity to "cheat."

Meanwhile, there are also reports saying a cross-platform play might happen between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. However, Harada and the rest of Bandai Namco Entertainment are not keen on the idea as it may jeopardize the performance of "Tekken 7" in the market.

The company has also yet to deny the VR rumor for "Tekken 7," which give fans reason to believe that it might just happen. The game is expected to arrive next year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
