Following the release of Apple's new iPhone 7, fans and critics have shifted their focus on the company's upcoming devices including the highly anticipated MacBook Pro 2016. The rumored laptop has been a favorite subject of numerous reports online for a few months now. Although the Cupertino based company has yet to provide concrete details with regard to the development and release of the MacBook Pro 2016, its specs and features have already hit the Internet.

According to a report Forbes, the IHS Technology's director for Notebook PCs and Tablets, Rhoda Alexander, said that Apple has already started the development of the new MacBook Pro 2016 before the second half of this year. "Production started in the second calendar quarter on refreshes of the 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch MacBook Pro [and] the 13.3-inch MacBook Air," the director revealed.

She also said that MacBook Pro 2016 should be launched in September or October. However, there are only few more days before the end of month. Industry experts believe that the American tech giant might go for an October launching of the new laptop, along with other hardware products including the iPad Pro 2 and a new MacBook Air iteration. If rumors prove to be true, interested buyers might just get the new MacBook Pro 2016 during the Holiday season.

There are also speculations that the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 might not get the next generation core processor from Intel, the Kaby Lake. If Apple decides to release the much-awaited laptop this year, it may run on the current Sky Lake chipset since Intel will not launch the new CPU until the end of 2016.

Meanwhile, several publications revealed that MacBook Pro 2016 might come with AMD's latest Polaris graphics technology. However, this has yet to be confirmed by Apple.

As of the moment, fans will have to wait for the company to provide concrete details with regard to the development and release of MacBook Pro 2016. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
