19th Tankobon Volume Of 'The Seven Deadly Sins' Topped Weekly Manga Chart in Japan; Nakaba Suzuki Motivated To Work On 'The Seven Deadly Sins' Season 2?

The four-week television anime OVA (Original Video Animation) entitled "The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War" premiered last August 28, 2016 on TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) and MBS (Mainichi Broadcasting System). It ended two Sundays ago and hinted another possible season for "Nanatsu no Taizai."

The renowned "Nanatsu no Taizai" or in its English translation "The Seven Deadly Sins" is a Japanese fantasy manga series that is illustrated and written by Nakaba Suzuki. The story of this fantasy manga series, according to News Everyday, revolves on the co-existence of humans and non-humans. The setting is on the medieval period when Kings and Queens ruled all over the world.

Specifically, "The Seven Deadly Sins" focuses on search of Princess Elizabeth for "The Seven Deadly Sins." In the series, "The Seven Deadly Sins" are seven knights who have the ability to bring back peace and order to the world.

As previously reported by Release-date, it was already announced in 7-taizi, the official website of the series, that "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 has been officially confirmed to premiere this 2016.

As there is no determined date yet for the release of Season 2, other speculations also surfaced.

The Bitbag said that it will most likely be released sooner than expected. This statement from Bitbag stands in opposition against the rumour that is spreading regarding the release of "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2. Rumours say that Season 2 will debut not until early 2017 because manga creator Nakaba Suzuki still needs to finish several chapters.

Since the 19th Tankobon volume of "The Seven Deadly Sins" by Nakaba Suzuki topped the weekly manga chart in Japan in February, Nakaba Suzuki may take this as a motivation to work on the manga's Season 2. It is no joke that "The Seven Deadly Sins" has sold 350, 720 copies in its first week.

The fans should stay up to date on the release of "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2. There are only three months left for 2016 and Season 2 may just come out as a surprise.
