The Cupertino-based company Apple might be hosting an event this coming October 2016. Reports say that Apple will introduce their new products in the said event. The much anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 are some of the devices that might be unveiled in the upcoming affair.

In our previous report, it was stated that Apple might be holding back on upgrading the MacBook Air 2016. The MacBook Pro is a much better laptop compared to the MacBook Air; one of the main differences of the two laptops is their screen quality. MacBook Pros have greater display and resolution compared to the MacBook Airs. Reports also say that two laptop lines MacBook and MacBook Pro would make things simpler.
Some people also say that Apple will not be getting rid of the Air line becauseit is doing well in the market. However, it will not sport its rumored Intel's 7th gen Kaby Lake Processor. Apple might go for the Skylake Processor instead and couple it with AMD Polaris graphic set.
Apple should come up with improved and advance MacBook Air 2016 because, according to HNGN, the latest ASUS Zen Book 3 exceeds the MacBook Air 2016 as the thinnest and lightest laptop in the world. The MacBook Air 2016 is also rumored to sport a Fingerprint Sensor with a TouchScreen Display. Having a Fingerprint Sensor would likely improve the laptop's security feature.
