Itty Bitty Patch Coming to Mass Effect 3 on All Platforms

A small patch is set to arrive for Mass Effect 3 on all platforms. It's a relatively small patch, making minimal adjustments, specifically fixes for "a multiplayer issue where users could have all of their weapons use rocket ammunition," and "an issue with high memory usage when initializing DLCs."

Community manager Chris Priestly informed fans of the incoming patch on the BioWare forums, saying:

"Hello Mass Effect fans

There is a new Mass Effect 3 patch coming for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 beginning later this evening. The Playstation 3 version is expected at Midnight tonight (between Jan 30 and Jan 31). The Xbox version is expected at 01:00am PST Jan 31. The PC version is expected at 10:00am January 31. All times are approximations."

So by February, everything should be gravy.

While these seem like relatively minor issues to adjust, it looks like there will be a bit more to the patch than just that. A little further into the thread, it was revealed by BioWare staffer Bryan Johnson that there will also be "minor balance tweaks that address collectors and power combos." Bryan claims that more information will be available on that tomorrow.

We'll keep you posted once the information is released, and if anything else is discovered about the patch, and what else it may address.
