NBA Trade 2016 Rumors: LeBron James Fed Up! Dishes At J.R. Smith Negotiations [POLL]

NBA Trade 2016 Rumors: LeBron James Fed Up! Dishes At J.R. Smith Negotiations [POLL]

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has been known to be impatient though his latest dish on the status of J.R. Smith may have reached a tipping point. As most know by now, J.R. Smith has yet to officially be signed by the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James is getting irritated by the same row that occurred last season. Smith is seeking a $15-million deal with the Cavs, premiums that critics feel is just about right given his stock.

LeBron James is missing one ‘big gun’

The Cleveland Cavaliers are known to do anything to keep LeBron James happy and the J.R. Smith is something that needs to be addressed. Both he and Smith are the same agent (Rich Paul). The hard-hitting player agent has been known to get what he wants though it seems imminent that this will get done at some point.

LeBron James has been growing impatient with one of his big guns in Smith still unsigned. Right now, there is no indication that other teams are interested in the 31-year-old guard but it does hold up the chemistry and plans the defending champions have for this year.

“He’s just too big of a piece to our team to have to deal with in another training camp. Hopefully, things get resolved fast because you know how big and important he is to our team,” LeBron James was quoted of saying via the Washington Post.

Smith has changed since joining the Cavs

Before he hooked up with the Cavs, Smith was notorious for his bad boy persona. LeBron James adds that to the mix, justifying the big changes the sweet-shooting guard has undertaken. That covers both inside and outside the basketball court, capped off by the fact that Smith has now become a fan-favorite.

This is a deal that will eventually be settled. But as far as LeBron James is concerned, it wouldn’t make any sense for both sides if negotiations are held off, Cleveland.com reported. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more NBA Trade Rumors!
