'God of War' Release Date, News & Update: Latest Details for Title Rounded Up; God's Skill Possibly Usable?

"God of War" is now known as a complete fact to those waiting for the fourth title to surface. What some may not be aware of is how far the title already is in terms of the game's completion.

Naturally, the next "God of War" still has not spilled much too much as to what can be expected from it. Not too long back, there are some bits of news that justify what exactly are the valid changes.

According to Parent Herald, the tone of "God of War" as it slowly moves forward may be taking a whole new frontier. Some fans that have gone to follow Kratos' true adventure may be fully aware that change is indeed coming for the game's plot-which was once rumored on being just a normal continuity.

As per I Tech Post, Kratos' adventures in the latest "God of War" will no longer adhere to the Greek mythology it once had, and now focuses on Norse mythologies. With the announcement of such, it was a shocker to so many fans that Kratos will no longer be facing the inhabitants of Mount Olympus.

Another detail to take note is that Kratos now has a son which he seemingly gives a lot of himself to. In the clip, "God of War" shows Kratos giving some tough love to his son, slowly on his way to being firmer and as a complete warrior.

Recently delivered rumors speak of Kratos finally utilizing the boots of the Greek god Hermes, after what transpired in the previous titles which could aid in speed. This was immediately cast aside by Cory Barlog of Santa Monica Studios, saying that it is an Easter egg made deliberately, but not meant for the gaming benefit.

No release date has been scheduled yet for "God of War" as of the moment. Fans can now rest assured that the game will be made compatible for the new PlayStation 4 Pro system.
