Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Release Date, Latest News & Update: Feature Greets October with Three New Titles

The month of October is arriving with some exciting games from the Microsoft feature. The latest entries on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature include "Guwange," "Toy Story 3" and "Lost Odyssey."

The announcement came from the Larry Hryb, also known as Major Nelson Twitter. The three games have been the latest to arrive on the backwards compatibility feature. The feature now has over 250 titles in its library, including triple A games like "Red Dead Redemption," "Call of Duty: World at War," "Call of Duty 3" and "Bayonetta."

Apparently, Disney's hit movie "Toy Story 3" is wounding its way to the consoles, and this time around, it's coming to the current gen Microsoft console. "Blue Dragon" has always been compared to the "Lost Odyssey" and with the latter arriving on the Xbox One backwards compatibility in August, it's a feast for the fans.

Meanwhile, you can also check the games that arrived on the backwards compatibility list, which include "Encleverment Experiment," "FunTown Mahjong," "Word Puzzle," "Arkanoid Live!" and "deBlob 2."

In other Xbox news, Xbox Live Gold Members can now enjoy new titles on the Free Xbox One games for October, as well as the Free Xbox 360 Games. The games include "Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings" and "The Escapists" for Xbox One and "I am Alive" and "MX vs ATV Reflex" for the Xbox 360.

The Free Xbox One Games and Xbox 360 Games are currently free to all Xbox Live Gold Members. Others who wish to buy the games online should know that the prices range from $19.99 to $29.99.
