‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: First Look, Big Changes!

Activision apparently has a lot of treats under its sleeve for "Call of Duty" fans since two projects are coming very soon. "Infinite Warfare is set to offer a new and futuristic retake on outer space military missions while "Modern Warfare Remastered" will give its players another view on the hit classic and has kept fans anticipating over its remastered graphics.

GamenGuide previously reported that "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" made its first appearance when developer Activision introduced it at E3 which took place this year, which was accompanied by its trailer. It was also revealed that players will be getting in when they go and get "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," which is available on a pre-order basis. Recently, however, Activision decided to get players even more excited for this release as the let out new cinematic footage of the story mode which gives a fresh look at a classic hit game.

Players would then be taken to another opportunity to relive their days as Sergeant John "Soap" MacTavish in the campaign mode of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered." This would let a player experience battling as a soldier in places which include Russia and the Middle East and would feature the same story and game play as the original, only that it now showcases current generation graphics.

Kotaku gives an initial impression on "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," which is mostly positive; it is said that the game is a faithful recreation of the shooters that most gamers have grown to love and adore. Having a great classic game reintroduced with current generation graphics have made the big moments even bigger than they already were. Controls feel very accurate and snappy and even faster than ever and this empowers game play with tremendous levels of energy. As for minor complaints, these include the minor flaws of the original being more apparent with the enhancement and that some missions are just not as spectacular; nevertheless, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is still awesome.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" will come in an exclusive package with "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's" Digital Deluxe, Legacy, and Legacy Pro editions. This will launch for PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 on November 4, but PS4 gamers will get the game a month earlier than other players due to Activision's exclusivity deal with Sony.
