LG V20 Release Date, News & Update: Smartphone Equally as Powerful as iPhone 7; Impressive Specs, Features, Price; Preorder, Launch Details Revealed
U.S. tech fans are pretty excited for the upcoming release of LG's latest flagship smartphone, the LG V20. According to reports, the South Korean tech giant will start taking preorders of the highly anticipated handset on Oct. 21. It was previously listed on B&H Photo Video, a New York City-based retailer, that LG will start its preorder promotion on Oct 2; however, the company has already changed the date later on.
Although it is pretty clear that LG V20 will be coming to the North American market, the B&H Photo Video online listing has yet to provide the smartphone's pricing details. However, there are speculations suggesting that the device will arrive with a cheaper price tag compared to Apple's newest release, the iPhone 7. Aside from being the first smartphone to be shipped with Google's latest operating system, the Android 7.0 Nougat, the LG V20 will carry impressive specs under the hood.
As of the moment, no report has surfaced whether the U.S. LG V20 device is the same variant recently released in North Korea. However, it was clearly stated online that the North American model of the smartphone will support all three major network connections - GSM, CDMA and 4G LTE. An unlocked version of LG V20 will also be available for people who do not want to be connected to a specific mobile network carrier.
Meanwhile, its specs and features definitely have the capabilities to challenge the mighty iPhone 7 and Samsung's Galaxy Note 7. The LG V20 smartphone is running on a Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm paired with 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB internal storage capacity. It will also carry a 3,200 mAh battery, which is enough for users to enjoy its amazing features.
As of the moment, LG has yet to provide the specific release date of the new LG V20. Stay tuned for more news and updates about LG's latest smartphone entry.
