The Sony Xperia XZ launched in Taiwan first and now it's launching other markets today. Some of the stores haven't updated their pages yet. The "Add to Cart" option is available only on the local Spanish site with a price tag of €700. Most others are either showing "Out of Stock" or "Pre-order" options.
As per GSMArena, the Sony UK site is still offering the £150 headphones with a Sony Xperia XZ pre-order price of £550. The promo is likely to go away as soon as the handset goes on sale. The Italian site is showing only the headphones and not the handset. The German site has priced the headphones at €200 and the handset at €700.
Poland, Sweden and Finland have all put up the Sony Xperia XZ handset on sale. In the US, Amazon's showing the device price as $699.99. The price tag places Sony Xperia XZ with the premium ones in the smartphone market, writes Tech Times. Sony has not put up the device on its US website and is relying only on Amazon.
However, many believe that such a high price tag does not justify some of the lackluster features such as its RAM and Display. Other flagships are offering better RAM and Displays at such a price. Those who are not aware of the specs, the Sony Xperia XZ comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
Other specs include a 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 processor, 2,900 mAh battery, 32GB expandable internal storage capacity and 23MP primary and 13MP secondary cameras. Needless to say, the Sony Xperia XZ has a premium look and feel and a kickass sleek metal body.
