Playing Aliens: Colonial Marines on Xbox 360? Be careful. Users are reporting that a set of bugs are completely wiping their saved data on the terribly reviewed first person shooter set in the Aliens universe.

According to Destructoid, some users say that clearing the cache on their console resets the game's save data for some reason. Others, however, claim that their saves were deleted seemingly at random.

If you're experiencing this problem, the Gearbox message board will be updated as the developer works out a fix. It's a also a great place to comiserate about having to start the game all over again. Of course, most reviewers would tell you put the game down, whether you've lost your save or not.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is currently available on PC, PS3, Xbox 360. A Wii U version is in the works, but has no definite release date.
