‘No Man’s Sky’ Latest News & Update: Game Under Investigation for False Advertising; Sean Murray to Announce Big Update This Month

"No Man's Sky" is one of the hotly anticipated titles of this year that received backlash from fans after its initial release date was pushed back. When the game finally came out in August, fans didn't quite receive what they've been promised for years. To the dismay of the fans who've waited patiently for the game, creator Sean Murray and his team of developers have been silent with regard to any updates about the sandbox adventure game. Nevertheless, there are reports suggesting that a new game update is imminent.

YouTube Gaming host Geoff Keighley may just have dropped hints as to when the first "No Man's Sky" update will come out, Express reported. In his broadcast, Keighley contacted Murray via email, who then responded that this team is "working hard on updates." Murray is planning to be present at an event this month and there will address the issues surrounding the game. It's hard to confirm if Murray will really announce an update anytime this month since he has been quiet on Twitter since "No Man's Sky" came out.

With silence from the "No Man's Sky" team, fans start to worry that Murray and his team may have falsely advertised the game to make people think that it can deliver what it had promised. Fans can only hope that Murray will finally break his silence and discuss the issues that need to be discussed. Murray and game studio Hello Games are now facing a crisis following the negative reviews from customers.

As if fans' disappointment is not bad enough, Eurogamer confirmed that the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has started to investigate Hello Games. A representative from the watchdog told the publication that an investigation was launched after having received numerous complaints regarding how "No Man's Sky" was advertised. ASA confirms that the investigation is currently going on and declined to give a comment on the matter. Fans should just stay tuned for more updates on "No Man's Sky."
