'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date, News & Update: Game Still Popular In Japan Despite Lack Of Details?

Fans have been getting more and more impatient with the official release of "Kingdom Hearts 3." It appears that even though "Kingdom Hearts 3" is a much-awaited game, the delay may have been too much for the fans that they lost interest in "Kingdom Hearts 3." But while some fans are clearly showing their disappointment, a new report revealed that the popularity of the game is still very high in Japan.

Fans were expecting that Disney and Square Enix will give them even just a tiny bit of information about "Kingdom Hearts 3" at E3 2016 but the company and developer remained tight-lip about it. It is already confirmed that "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" Final Chapter Prologue is coming out worldwide in January 12, 2017.

But according to the the "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer, the third installment is "currently in development." Could the delay and lack of information be the reason why "Kingdom Hearts 3" is losing its popularity? Mobile & Apps reports that this is definitely not the case in Japan.

The site noted that Japanese gamers are still very interested about "Kingdom Hearts 3" despite the lack of announcement. Their excitement about the game shows in the most recent Famitsu Chart where "Kingdom Hearts 3" nabbed the seventh spot. Although "Kingdom Hearts 3" has never reached the Top 5 for months.

While some may take the new ranking of "Kingdom Hearts 3" negatively, since the game didn't even reached the top 5, the performance of "Kingdom Hearts 3" has actually improved. During the previous result of Famitsu chart back in July, "Kingdom Hearts 3" got the eighth spot, which means the hype now is bigger than the last time. This goes to show that even though "Kingdom Hearts 3" did not announce any new details about the game, its popularity is still very obvious.
