Apparently, thousands of players want "Gears of War 4" four days earlier than rest. This is implied by the sold out status of "Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition" at the Gamestop store. How did that happened? Players need to purchase the Ultimate Edition for them to be able to download "Gears of War 4" on October 7, instead of its regular release date of October 11.
In a twitter post sent out by The Coalition community manager Adam Fletcher, he said "It appears https://GameStop.com is sold out of the physical version of "Gears 4: UE." I recommend checking local stores to pre order!" Unfortunately, not much is in offer on the Ultimate Edition of the game, except for the Steelbook that serve as a collector's item. Also, the steelbook is not included on digital purchase of "Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition."

Meanwhile, the Xbox Wire reminds all players that the "Gear of War 4" Live Broadcasts airs today. The livestream can also be viewed on the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Twitch, Facebook. YouTube and Beam. If you're out of luck getting a physical copy of the Ultimate Edition, you have another chance to play "Gears of War 4" four days earlier than the release day. According to the Xbox Wire, the panel team will be giving away 90 codes for the 90 minute live stream and players who will be able to grab the code will be able to play the game earlier.
As an advance warning to players, the physical copies of "Gears of War 4" requires a massive 11GB day one patch. Fortunately, digital copies of the game will not need the 11GB day one patch. Downloading "Gears of War 4" on the Xbox One requires a whole 54.6GB download space. Imagine just how much the game will rack up on console's internal storage.
