iOS 10.1 Jailbreak Release Date Latest News & Update: Pangu, TaiG Get New Challenge
Apple has rolled out the second public beta of iOS 10.1 which follows the recent release of the developer beta. Though Apple has not mentioned when iOS 10.1 will be officially rolled out, Pangu and TaiG are likely among the techies taking note for their next iOS 10.1 jailbreak release.
Pangu found itself shut out after showing off that celebrated iOS 10 jailbreak at MOSEC 2016. That included an iOS 9.3.3 and iOS 9.3.4 jailbreak, all of which have now been officially nullified. Their last iOS jailbreak came for iOS 9.3.3 but that barely lasted long.
iOS 10 jailbreak never saw the light of day
As far as the celebrated iOS 10 jailbreak, Apple users never really got to see it out in the open. This is despite claims that iOS 10 notoriously had poor security features, an exploit that forced Apple to release iOS 10.0.1 and 10.0.2.
With iOS 10.1 now on the mend, the best Pangu, TaiG or individual hackers right now is go back to the drawing board. Lucas Todesco did show off his own his iPhone 7 hack but never released it publicly. Hence, it was considered nothing more than a hoax and way to attract attention.
Will iOS 10.1 be jailbreakable?
While most of the bickering for iOS 10 jailbreaks are futile right now, the question is on whether Pangu, TaiG or individual hackers can crack the upcoming Apple operating system.
Apple Insider reported that iOS 10.1 will offer interface tweaks and address maintenance issues. It will also carry the signature feature for the iPhone 7 Plus tied up to the “Portrait” mode for added effects to the background of photos.
The “Portrait” mode feature will be limited to the iPhone 7 Plus since it will be focused on the dual-lense camera. If no issues crop up, iOS 10.1 could be out by the end of October. As far as an iOS 10.1 jailbreak is concerned, all that depends how well hackers read the latest Apple mobile operating system.
