The last flagship camera released by GoPro, the Hero 4 Black, reportedly had a very tight competition against some high end and more affordable action cameras. Now, GoPro will be releasing two new cameras that will answer those challenges: the GoPro Hero 5 Black and GoPro Hero 5 Session.
GoPro has never let their fans disappointed with all of their released action cameras in the past. And just last month, GoPro has officially announced their release of the new GoPro Hero 5 with its two different models" the GoPro Hero 5 Black and the GoPro Hero 5 Session.
Both GoPro Hero 5 Black and GoPro Hero 5 Session have an updated capabilities and features compared to older models. These models also have a voice control with English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Chinese languages.
According to reports, the GoPro Hero 5 Black has a larger design compared to the GoPro Hero 5 Session. It also has a micro HDMI port with removable battery while the GoPro Hero 5 Session features a monochrome setting.
When it comes to its GPS, the GoPro Hero 5 Black has an automatic tracking location with three microphones and a noise cancellation feature. But, despite these differences, both have a built-in waterproof casing that can withstand up to 33 feet underwater, according to a review from Wired.
Additionally, GoPro Hero 5 Black has 2-inch touch screen display while the GoPro Hero 5 Session do not but both have 12 megapixel sensor, as per Thai Visa. Both action camera can shoot video in 4K videos at 30 fps and supports RAW and WDR photo modes.
According to Digital Trends, the GoPro action camera is now back on the first place among other competitors with its improvements and combinations. GoPro Hero 5 Black is now available for $399.99 while the GoPro Hero5 Session is the more affordable of the two at $299.
