‘Rome: Total War’ Release Date, News & Update: iPad Users Soon To Experience One Of The Best PC Games For Only $9.99

"Rome: Total War," reported as one of the best strategy games of SEGA and Feral Interactive, will soon be coming this fall to iPad Air, iPad Mini 2 and iPad Pro.  The hugely popular war game will only cost $9.99.

Game enthusiasts have named "Rome: Total War" as also one of the best PC games so far. That version was a classic that was released in 2004 and created by The Creative Assembly according to Touch Arcade. Its developer has promised that the game port to the iPad will be without compromise. In the game, players need to take hold of one of the three Roman houses that wants to control the empire. Other factions will be unlocked as players advance into the game.

Launched in 2007, "Rome: Total War" is a strategic game where there are real-time battles in 3D. Players will take charge and control enormous units in the battlefield using diplomacy and even assassination to claim victory.

In order for gamers to play "Rome: Total War" in iPad Air, iPad Mini 2 and iPad Pro, they need to have at least 4GB of free space. The iPad Air should be at least a first generation, while the mini should at least have a retina display. In 2010, the game was launched to Mac OS and Feral Interactive took charge of its port.

"Rome: Total War" in iPad still has no confirmed release date yet, but just keep an eye on your App store as it could appear anytime soon.

This is not the first time that a popular game in the PC was made available in the iPad. "Heroes of Might & Magic 3" had the same strategy and came to the iOS powered gadget also for only $9.99.
