XBox 720 Reveal Coming in April? [RUMOR]

According to CVG's Rob Crossley, Microsoft is set to unveil their new console on the 26th of next month. Crossley informed fans of the news via Twitter, claiming his source as someone he trusts. He does leave room for error, saying that the date is tentative, and could change at any time. Like all rumors, best to take this one with a huge grain of salt.

Original speculation had Microsoft waiting until E3 to reveal the new system, though the company could've moved up their plans once Sony revealed their own next-gen console, the PS4, last week.

There've been about as many rumors surrounding Microsoft's new system as there were, if not more, than Sony's, and are all unconfirmed. Everything from requiring a constant online connection, will feature Augmented Reality glasses, new version of Kinect, the list goes on and on.

Whenever asked, Microsoft's response has always been the same: "Microsoft does not comment on rumors or speculation. We are always thinking about what is next for our platform, but we don't have anything further to share at this time."

Hopefully we'll all find out what Microsoft has planned soon enough.
