According to a report from MacWorld, the iPad Mini 5 might be launched in 2017. Tech critics strongly believe that Apple is still focusing on their upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 that will be launched within this year and it is one of the main reasons causing the delay of the iPad Mini 5.

Rumors and speculations about the iPad Mini 5 specs are spreading online. According to PCadvisor, the upcoming Apple tablet will have a 3D touch function and it will also run on the latest Apple's operating system the iOS 10 or the new iOS 11 if it will be launched next year.

Consumers will also be able to choose three different screen sizes, the 12.9-inch, 10.1-inch and 9.7-inch. The iPad Mini 5 will be powered by the latest A10 chipset. Design and overall internal features will be improved to surpass its previous models.

The iPad Mini 5 is also rumored to have a 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage, 8 GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera that will have a True Tone Flash technology for high quality photos. Some rumors also say that the iPad Mini 5 might not have the standard 3.5mm headphone jack because Apple will continue the trend they made with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
