'Mass Effect 3' DLC Gets a Launch Trailer [VIDEO]

The latest DLC for "Mass Effect 3Reckoning," is all set to go in North America. BioWare previously provided fans with some information as to what the DLC will offer fans, but here's your first look at it. Check it out below.

"Reckoning" is the last multiplayer DLC for BioWare's massive game, and will be available for free on all platforms. Players abroad can grab it tomorrow. The DLC will be followed by the final single player DLC, "Citadel," next month.

It looks like this will seal the deal for the "Mass Effect" storyline, right? Don't count on it. With a series this large, you can expect it to go on, crappy ending or not. It was revealed back in November that work was already underway on the next "Mass Effect" game, with plans to utilize the Frostbite engine.

Apart from being in development, very little about it has been confirmed, especially the plot. As BioWare Montreal Producer Fabrice Condominas stated, "the 'Mass Effect' universe is vast, and very, very rich." So there's still a lot for team to draw on. The only thing known is that Shepard won't be making an appearance.

But with a plentiful universe to draw on, and two new consoles on the horizon, the sky's the limit for the next "Mass Effect."
