‘Gravity Rush 2’ Release Date, News & Update: Developer Reveals Reason For 2017 Release, Premium DLC Will Be Free; 11-Min Gameplay Demo Revealed
"Gravity Rush 2" is unlikely to get a holiday release. Based on the announcement made through its official PlayStation Blog, Sony confirms the move of the much-awaited sequel launch to December up to early 2017. According to its game director Keiichiro Toyama, the delay is due to the change in the landscape.

The "Gravity Rush 2" is reported to have been in the works since 2013, which was known as the "Team Gravity Project." The sequel for the original title launched in 2012 on PS Vita, was supposed to release on Dec. 2. However, reports indicate that the fans may have to wait a little longer for the game.

"Gravity Rush 2" features the final journey of Kat, and with that, players would likely need enough time to look into her story. Given the fact that a number of works has been put into the game's online features, asynchronous player interaction has been allowed, making as many people playing the title at the same time.

As the "Gravity Rush 2" delayed launch has been confirmed, reports indicate a January 2017 launch instead. Toyama, along with the team of developers, is believed to make up for the delay by making the earlier announced premium DLC come as free.

Meanwhile, "Gravity Rush 2" extended and a new gameplay demo has arrived following the EGX 2016. The mind-bending sequel currently being developed at Project Siren and Sony Japan Studio is reported to have a demo from the PlayStation Access. According to reports, the 11-minute video also comes with the good news that the game's ESRB rating will be rated T for Teen when it lands on PS4 in December.
"Gravity Rush 2" has been rumored to supposedly launch in Nov. 30 in Europe and Australia. On the other hand, there was an early speculation that North America and Japan are set to get the game title in Dec. 2 and Dec. 1, respectively, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.
