"Mafia 3" underbosses are said to be one of the intriguing elements of the crime game. It is said that gamers need to choose one of the three characters to take charge of areas which may cause trouble. Lincoln Clay is expected to please all three so as not to be betrayed. However, a new gameplay video has been released by the developers showing the inevitable.
The Voodoo Queen will take charge of guns in "Mafia 3." Cassandra can supply Lincoln with the best weapons in "Mafia 3" if players can earn her trust. According to a report, Cassandra can also mess with telephone operators which can prove useful during intense gunfights preventing the opposing gang from calling reinforcements, Polygon reported.
On the other hand in order to go around Mafia, Clay may need the assistance of Burke. In a "Mafia 3" cutscene, Burke was shown repairing cars and gives players a car anytime and anywhere. However, this hothead can betray Clay if Clay does not obey. In such case, Clay will be required to kill him.
"Mafia 3" will also feature an old-school gangster. Vito is ready to torture anyone to get what he wants and is said to be the most powerful. Vito can call a death squad to help Clay out whenever he is in trouble. Interestingly, Vito also has a special doctor.
Meanwhile, reports have claimed that "Mafia 3" can only run at 30fps maximum in the day and age of games running at 60fps. However, a new post-launch patch is said to be in the works that can push the game to run at 30 and 60 frames per second. It should be noted that the patch is already being verified and may roll out soon.
The "Mafia 3" website previously revealed that the game will launch at 30 frames per second at launch. However, gamers are assured that the developers will not stop at 30fps.
