"The Walking Dead" Season 7 is set to change a lot of things especially with the way that beloved characters will view their zombie apocalyptic world. Additionally, the AMC show's upcoming season will also feature a different Morgan, according to cast member Lennie James.

Morgan, portrayed by James, had a very low kill count during the AMC series' Season 6. He refrained from killing other characters even those that threatened the safety of his friends. However, "The Walking Dead" Season 7 will show Morgan's more violent side.

James warned that viewers may be shocked with Morgan's transformation in Season 7. The actor made the revelation during the AMC show's panel at the recent New York Comic-Con, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The actor mentioned how some fans have requested to see a tougher and more brutal Morgan. Showrunners may have provided viewers a chance to see just that, according to James.

He cited examples of Morgan having to empty a full clip when shooting a member of the Savior's group. As compared to previous seasons where he would have only used one or two bullets, the new Morgan would not hesitate to use all of his gun's ammunition to ensure his enemy's death.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 will also show Morgan on a journey where he gets to see other communities and other survivors. The character's dangerous quest may even account for his violent behavior in the AMC series' new season.

In other news, AMC has released the title of the show's upcoming Season 7 premiere including its episode synopsis, Comic Book reported. The season's first episode titled "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be" is a nod to Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) brazen statement to Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) after the villain's head-bashing spree.

Apart from unveiling Negan's victim, the Season 7 premiere will also feature Rick and his gang's efforts to recover following the death of their friend. However, Negan's actions will impact beloved characters and their future in AMC's zombie-ridden world.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 will premiere on Oct. 23 on AMC. Watch the latest trailer below:
