Last Single Player DLC for 'Mass Effect 3,' Citadel, Out Tuesday

"Mass Effect 3's" final DLC, Citadel, hits on Tuesday, so BioWare has released a FAQ giving players the bare minimum of details for when it's accessible in the game, and what players can expect.

First off, don't expect the DLC to change the game's infamous ending (or lack thereof). The DLC can be activated before the game's final event, and while it should serve as a nice walk down memory lane, it's not making any dramatic changes.

BioWare neglects to mention just who wil make an appearance in the DLC, preferring to let players find out for themselves. All that's officially said on the matter is, "the DLC offers a chance to adventure with your ME3 squad, along with Urdnot Wrex, and to connect with old friends, including romances." But said friends will only appear once players have completed their missions and follow-up conversations in the main game.

With this final DLC, it marks the end of ongoing DLC support after almost a full year. PS3 players can grab the DLC when the PS Store updates on Tuesday for $14.99. It'll run Xbox 360 gamers 1200 MS Points. And a quick heads up for Xbox 360 gamers; being a bit larger, the DLC is split into 2 downloads. "The first pack is priced at $14.99 and the second pack is tagged as free. Players need to purchase and download pack 1, then download pack 2 at no additional cost."

Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the series, says, "We have always been humbled and driven by the passion of our fans for the Mass Effect trilogy. We hope fans will enjoy spending more time with some of their favorite characters -- we have certainly enjoyed spending time creating them. We're excited to release this final sendoff for the trilogy and move forward into the future of the Mass Effect universe."
