‘Overwatch' Latest News & Update: Halloween Terror Event Revealed; See New Skins, Modes & Other Details

Play "Overwatch" this remaining few months of the year and be treated with loot at the "Overwatch Halloween Terror" event. The Halloween Terror event is launched to celebrate this year's spooky month. Unfortunately, this new feature will not bring new gameplays and missions, but rather a reason to giveaway Halloween loots in the form of player icons, sprays, skins, victory poses, highlight intros, credits and voice lines.

The said loot in the "Overwatch Halloween Terror" event to GameRant, will be available until November 1 (4PM PT). The hero character Sombra has been highly talked about ever since news about it getting buffed emerged online. Since then, every single bit of hints on the Halloween Terror event has been connected to the character. Like that of the skull logo that highly relates to Sombra. Previously, the character of Symmetra has been updated, including the controls that will effectively make it a playable character.

Despite the absence of new modes, Blizzard will not disappoint fans and is confirmed to add two playable heroes in the "Overwatch" game. Overwatch's Jeff Kaplan said that, the team is working on two playable characters that, while the other seemed far away from being launched, it will be a very exciting character in the game.

The testing of the new heroes revealed on the "Overwatch Halloween Terror" event according to Kaplan, is "very far along." In his statement, he said, "We believe this hero will see the light of day sooner rather than later." As for the maps in "Overwatch" game, the team is developing two maps that will co-exist with the current modes of the game. "I don't think all of them will become actual maps that will end up launching" added Kaplan.
