'Final Fantasy VII Remake' Latest News & Update: Wait for Title May Be A Little Longer; Tetsuya Nomura Explains Some Reasons Why
The "Final Fantasy VII Remake" has ultimately teased fans in more than one occasion, but as early as now, the journey and wait may be a little too heavy to take. Nonetheless, there may be a time frame for those who wait to hang on to, thanks to the team of Square Enix.
It can be recalled that the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" is one of the most highly anticipated titles to date, especially after the very first hint of its existence. The hype immediately rose even higher the moment that actual gameplay footage was then released; though no launch date was confirmed.
This may be changed now, according to Nova Crystallis, as Tetsuya Nomura gave some word out in an interview found within the latest Dengeki PlayStation issue. One approach that Nomura may be going for is scheduling the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" to unveil more about itself, if not to be launched yet, next year.
One particular reason that it will be so is the 20th anniversary of the first "Final Fantasy VII" game, and will prove to be a more appropriate move for Square Enix if so. The delay for the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" is one that may have of good reason, which Nomura elaborated further on.
Another reason is having to give way to the other Square Enix heavy-hitters bound to release soon, such as "World of Final Fantasy" and "Final Fantasy XV." After such will be the only reasonable period wherein more news about the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" can be delivered.
Some reports say that the battle system of the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" was given a noticeable overhaul, which many will find intriguing. This includes those who have been used to the previous battle systems, but Nomura reassured the fans of the sustained feel that the game will have from the predecessors.
For now, Square Enix fans can stay locked onto the fact that the "Final Fantasy VII Remake" will come, but presumably not anytime within the year. Stay locked for more updates here at Gamenguide.
