‘Injustice 2’ Release Date Details, News & Update: Sequel to Arrive Earlier Than Expected; Game to Feature New Environments
The upcoming "Injustice 2" has been a favorite subject of several reports and speculations online for a few months now. Ever since the original game, "Injustice: Gods Among Us," was released in 2013, fans have been sharing their own predictions on what to expect once the sequel is available. According to reports, game developer NetherRealm Studios is already planning to release a PC version of the game. There are also speculations suggesting that the upcoming sequel will feature an RPG style gameplay, which is totally different from its predecessor.
Although people are quite certain that "Injustice 2" will arrive in 2017, the people behind the game have yet to provide solid details about its development and release date. However, there are rumors suggesting that the new title will likely come out in March next year for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. With regard to the game's PC version, it was "Injustice" creator Ed Boon himself who revealed that a new version for Windows and iOS could be in the works; however, he did not provide more details about it.
According to a report by WCCFTech, an "Injustice 2" PC version will most likely come out along with the other version of the game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Boon has also surprised many fans when he said that "Injustice 2" mobile version is already under development following a poll he created online asking fans whether they like to have an updated "Injustice" game or a different mobile app.
Meanwhile, during an interview with Game Reactor, the marketing head of NetherRealms Studios Brian Goodman said that "Injustice 2" will feature new environments in the game. "We will have new environments; we'll be releasing them over time," Goodman revealed. "We have several new ones down the line and we're excited to show these to you in the future."
