‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ Release Date, News & Update: Gameplay Trailer Reveals Black Goku

Bandai Namco has released a new gameplay video for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" ahead of its launching this Oct. 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. More details about the highly anticipated video game have been revealed in the latest trailer. It seems like gamers would be able to play the character of Black Goku from "Dragon Ball Super" in the second instalment of the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" game series.

Gamers should note that Black Goku will be free to those who will pre-order "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in addition to the Tao Pai Pai stick vehicle. Many characters are expected to be added in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" like Kayabe and Frost who will be released as part of the first DLC pack of the game, as per PlayStation Lifestyle. It is said that a total of 80 characters will be available for players to choose from.

New features will also be available like additional quests for the players to accomplish. Remastered quests from the first instalment will be added as well. One of the exciting features of the upcoming game is the new hub called the Conton City which is way larger than Toki Toki City of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse." The new hub can accommodate up to 300 players at the same time.

Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" beta is now open on PlayStation 4 and many gamers have already experienced and confirmed the new features of the title. Players from different regions have the chance to enjoy the open beta until Monday, as per WCCFtech. The trial stage will help the developers of the game point out the glitches to improve it before the official release date later this month.

Gamers from North America will be the first one to experience "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" on Oct. 25. Players from Europe will have to wait until Oct. 28 to enjoy it.
