'Pokemon Go' Release Date, News & Update: How To Find Porygon, Chansey; Catching Pokemons Increase Life Expectancy, According to Research

"Pokemon Go's" popularity has prompted more and more players to jump on the bandwagon, in spite of some reports claiming that the mobile sensation from Niantic is now losing its glow. However, the difficulty of catching Pokemons has reportedly forced some players to rely on tricks, tips, hacks and cheats. In fact, the players are reported to complain about the trouble of catching Porygon and Chansey. Here are some ways to catch the elusive Pokemon creatures.

"Pokemon Go": How To Find Porygon

Porygon can be found by hatching it from a 5km egg, which is very common in "Pokemon Go." The players are required to buy egg incubators due to the fact that the likelihood of hatching the Pokemon is reported to be very limited - around sub-5 percent.  In addition, the best place to catch Porygon is inside the government buildings such as the DMV or a local court house.

"Pokemon Go": How To Find Chansey

Chansey is reported to come in 10 km eggs, or the rarest among the Pokemons. Based on reports, the players must pop the Pokemon into an egg incubator as soon as they have captured one. However, the chances of hatching a Pokemon from a 10km egg are as low as 3 percent.

"Pokemon Go" reports also indicate that Chancey, as a normal type of Pokemon, has no particular biomes to spawn such as in desert or water. However, some players claim to have discovered that the Pokemon mostly appear near the universities or residential areas, according to a report.

Pokemon Go Health Benefits

Meanwhile, a new research has found that constant playing of "Pokemon Go" can "measurably affect life expectancy in the US." The findings were the result of a study conducted by the researchers at Microsoft and Stanford University, claiming that an additional 41 days can be earned when playing the game. The research also states that people who play the mobile app regularly walked additional 1,473 steps every day, or about 25 percent more activity.

"Pokemon Go" users of almost 32,000 were tracked by the research study for three months with the use of Microsoft Band's accelerometer and gyrometer. Based on the research, it was found that the game significantly increased the levels of physical activity, especially among those who are not usually that active, Civilized reported.
