Another "Total War: Warhammer" DLC release is coming in a few days. Finally, The Dwarfs and the Greenskins races will be getting the long-awaited boost to their ranks with the scheduled The King and the Warlord DLC.
New Legendary Lord - Belegar Ironhammer
The "Total War: Warhammer" The King & the Warlord DLC will bring new Legendary Lords for rival races The Dwarfs and the Greenskins. The Dwarfs will have Belegar Ironhammer, said to be the true king of Eight Peaks, reports Total War Wiki.
The new campaign that will be introduced with the "Total War: Warhammer" DLC sets Belegar on a quest to reclaim the Eight Peaks from the Greenskins. Said to be rich in treasures of his forefathers, reclaiming the peaks is essential to keep the cost of his army in check as well as for the powerful weapons that lie within.
It is even more important for Belegar to regain the stronghold because doing so will grant him two legendary items, the Hammer of Angrund and the Shield of Defiance. To aid him, the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" DLC will grant him a special skill called Siege Attacker, the ability to attack walled cities even without equipment.
New Legendary Lord - Skarsnik the Warlord
On the Greenskins side, the upcoming "Total War: Warhammer" DLC grants their race a new Legendary Lord in the person of Skarsnik. A formidable melee warrior, he is even made more fearsome with his vicious but loyal pet the Giant Cave Squig Gobbla who never leaves his side.
Skarsnik unique abilities include buffs for Goblin units as well as reduced costs for maintaining his army. The "Total War: Warhammer" The King and the Warlord DLC likewise come with a quest for Skarsnik which grants him a legendary weapon the Skarsnik's Prodder, which is capable of raining down magic missiles AoE style.
Free Units Coming In 'Total War: Warhammer' DLC
However, for those who are not planning to buy the "Total War: Warhammer" DLC, free units are still coming with the patch for the Chaos faction. These include the Legendary Lord Savage Orc Shaman Wurrzag, and free Chaos units Aspiring Champions, Marauder Horsemasters and Feral Manticores.
