‘Titanfall 2’ Latest News & Update: New Campaign Mode Built From Blocks; Robo-Buddy Complements Shooting Experience From Another Angle! More Details! [Trailer]

Respawn has an experience in mind for "Titanfall 2" single-player campaign mode and that involved a lot of puzzling, platforming, and moments with one's robo-buddy on top of the shooting experience. That would get a lot of fans onboard and the more that they will get excited to play this game when they see what is in for them in the latest trailer.

PC Gamer reports that the video shows "Titanfall 2" main man Jack Cooper who teams up with a cooperative robot named British Telecom or BT for short. This means that a rookie Titan pilot has all of a sudden, gotten a hold of one of the most advanced technology available in the militia. That looks like a good setup for anything and the load of action that can be offered after that looks different that what most first-person shooters can offer.

The original Titanfall was practically entirely a multiplayer game, so this new campaign mode is a big step for Electronic Arts, which they poured their focus on. In the "Titan 2" trailer, one case see EA's vision for its single-player gameplay from the viewpoint of both Pilot and Titan which would bring unique and matching capabilities to battle.

The "Titan 2" video's description on YouTube says that "variety is the key" and it points out to the different vantage points that a player can see within the game. Pilots are fast, agile but are not very tough while Titans are hulking, burly, heavily armed but are not so nimble and more autonomous that most players would think. As for level design, the developers say that they will be integrating puzzle mechanics that will force players to pause and think about the environment so that they could progress.

IGN reports that when Respawn wanted to build a full-blown single player campaign for "Titanfall 2," they did not have much of a blueprint to follow from since the first Titanfall game did not really feature a campaign mode. With this, the team did something very basic, they started playing with action blocks and for every week for six months straight they had to bring a new idea forward.
