The Apple's iPad Air 3 is one of the most anticipated devices to be released this year. Several rumors and speculations have been spreading about the device because Apple remained tight lipped about its specs and features. But, fans are still hoping that the iPad Air 3 will be launched this upcoming October 27 event, which Apple will be hosting.

According to a report from MacWorld, the prediction that iPad Air 3 will be launched this October 27 is based on the trend Apple when would usually launches its new iPad Air tablets. In fact, the very first iPad Air was officially announced on Oct. 22, 2013 but it was released on a month of November, while the iPad Air 2 was announced on Oct. 16, 2014 alongside with the iPad Mini 3 and both devices were released on Oct. 22, 2014.

Some reports also say that Apple might be putting an end to the iPad Air production. This speculation started when Apple released an iPad Pro 9.7, as stated by ITPro. Report says that Apple should just stick with the Pro line for it to be simpler instead. So, is iPad Air 3 still coming?

If ever iPad Air 3 will be launched soon, it will surely be lighter and thinner compared to its predecessors. It will also be compatible with an Apple Pencil. It might also have a Smart Keyboard Cover that will be easily connected to a smart connector, which is located on the left side of the device. The smart connector will enable the keyboard cover to drag the power from the battery of the iPad Air 3.

Some reports also say that delaying the iPad Air 3's launch might be a strategy of Apple. The company might just be waiting for the perfect time for the official launching of iPad Air 3 because of the drop of sales of tablets in the market, which is caused by several phablets surfacing these days.
