Apple's iPad Pro 2 was one of the few hardware products from the Cupertino based company that were supposed to be launched during the iPhone 7 event in Sept. 7. However, that did not happen and fans were left disappointed, and now people wondering when the highly anticipated tablet will arrive. According to the latest reports, the upcoming iteration will come out in three variations, which all differ in size.

Industry experts are saying that Apple is planning to launch the new iPad Pro 2 before the year ends; however, the company has yet to provide the official details with regard to its development, much less its release date. Nonetheless, rumors are rife that the device will have three models - the 9.7-inch entry variant, the 10.5-inch tablet, and the 12.9-inch model. According to the report, all three variants will run on Apple's latest and powerful processor, the A10X chipset. There are speculations suggesting that its impressive processor along with other advanced specs will make the tablet faster than a regular PC of up to 80 percent.

In a report by The Guardian, Ming-Chi Kuo, the KGI Securities analyst, has predicted that the much awaited iPad Pro 2 will be Apple's best hardware product this year or in 2017. The three variations of the next iteration are expected to help the company boost better sales once they are already available in the market.

Meanwhile, according to a report by FXNewsCall, iPad Pro 2 will also carry a new battery technology that would allow users to use the device for up to 10 hours. Other features of Apple's new tablet will include a new audio system, which has four speakers. The device might also come out with the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack, which is quite different from the new audio system of the iPhone 7.

As of the moment, Apple has yet to provide concrete details about its release date. However, fans have reasons to believe that the company might go for a late 2016 release of iPad Pro 2.
