'The Walking Dead' Season 7: What We Know So Far
The long wait of avid fans is almost over since "The Walking Dead" is back on Oct. 23, Sunday. The finale of Season 6 brought a bad impression to the fans as the leader of the Saviors, Negan, was introduced and one of the main casts of the episode will be doomed.
Throughout summer, fans have been debating about what will happen next and many other crazy theories about the new season's first episode. As suggested in its recent teaser trailers, someone will die right away, which is a tragic way to start a new season.
The first episode picks up where Season 6 ended
The finale of Season 6 left the fans hanging because it ended with Negan who is about to kill one of your beloved characters with his barbed wire wrapped bat called Lucille. Undoubtedly, the next season will pick up the first episode from the last episode of Season 6 and someone will meet his or her doom.
A bigger world means more characters to meet
So, the folks of Alexandria found out that they are not the only working society form the time they have met The Saviors and Hilltop. In fact, there are couple of combat men that are shown who seemed be from a group that we have not seen before.
Complete power shift
Negan seemed to be in full control as you have noticed at the end of Season 6. Before that, the folks of Alexandria are also in control of their community. In an interview with Deadline, Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dion, said a shift of power should be expected on the next season. It might imply that Negan will be in full control of all the gangs.
Strange relationship between Negan and Carl will be explored
All fans know how tough and cold Carl is in the latter part of the series. But in the comic book series, despite of the deaths and threats received by the group of Negan, Carl is left unpunished and unharmed. One of the stars of the season, Andrew Lincoln, said in an interview with CinemaBlend that he was interested with the complicated relationship of Negan and Carl. There are more things to expect the next season, so fans can only wait and see.
