'The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct" Hits PC After All

Despite earlier statements from Activision's Greek distributor, I.G.E., it seems like "The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct" arrived safe and sound on PC after all, meaning everyone has a chance to take this turd out for a walk.

It looks like I.G.E. was referring to physical ports only, as Amazon is offering digital distribution of the game, but it's all Greek to me.

The game arrived on Tuesday, and the PC port is faring no better than the console versions, which hold a 5.3 at best from Metacritic. But with lackluster trailers and the success of Telltale's own "Walking Dead" title, "Survival Instinct" may have been doomed from the start to begin with.

Few sites have yet to go anywhere near a game that's based on a TV show that's based on a comic book. One that has, Polygon, deemed it a "cheap cash-grab that gave licensed games a bad name in the first place."

PC players are free to make up their own minds for $49.99.
