A "Mafia 3" new patch is said to be in the works for all gaming platforms. On the other hand, PC users may already get the latest 1.2GB patch to fix the framerate lock issue. Similarly, the developers also released update 1.03 for PS4 users.
"Mafia 3" was only recently released and already players have reportedly complained a number of bugs and glitches in the game. The glitches that have been found involved flying cars and crashing desktop. Moreover, the game has been likened to "No Man's Sky" for the number of features from its predecessor now missing in the latest game. 2K and Hangar 13 are reportedly aware of the issues and are already working on a glitch fix for all gaming platforms, according to report.
On another note, several players reportedly praised the developers on "Mafia 3" taking on racism that was rampant back in that time and showed how Clay would overcome such obstacles. In addition, with the new "Mafia 3" patch, players may now enjoy the game at 60fps or more since it is no longer capped. Previously, the game was locked to 30 frame rates per second. The patch will also fix the blurred rendering issue on a handful of systems. In the meantime, the patch still cannot resolve the crashing issue and low-end gaming rigs' performance.
Meanwhile, update 1.03 for "Mafia 3" has also been released for PS4 players. The patch is said to improve the stability of "Mafia 3". The update 1.03 clocks in at 137 MB. There are still no full patch notes available as of this writing.
