‘Persona 5’ Release Date, News & Update: List Of Voice Cast Revealed! Troy Baker Out? How To Get Help From Other Players?
Atlus developer has released the list of voice cast for the upcoming "Persona 5." Troy Baker, who was also in "Persona 4," was not included for an unknown reason. The 40-year-old voice actor is popular as he has been in almost all video games. Some fans were saddened by the news, though some critics say Baker is not that remarkable.
The protagonist's voice in "Persona 5" will be handled by Xander Mobus, who was the announcer in the "Smash Bros." He was also the voice of Dagda from "Shin Megami Tensei 4: Apocalypse."
Other voice cast in "Persona 5" includes Cassandra Morris (Morgana), Max Mittelman (Ryugi Sakamoto), Erika Harlacher (Ann Takamaki), Matt Mercer (Yusuke Kitagawa) and Cherami Leigh (Makoto Niijma). Also, Erica Lindbeck (Futuba Sakura), Xanthe Huynh (Haru Okumura) and Robbie Daymond (Goro Akechi) would be heard.
"Persona 5" is a single-player role-playing video game but it has an online feature that allows the players to get help from other players. The Phantom Thieves Alliance will provide assistance to players but it has no effect to the storyline.
So how does the alliance works? Players can be taken hostage when they are knocked out during a combat in "Persona 5." Other players who are connected to the Phantom Thieves Alliance can save the hostage by offering an item to the taker.
Being connected to the Phantom Thieves Alliance will not only allow the players to get help from other players, it will also stop the enemies from escaping during the combat. Exploration becomes difficult when enemies flee because the caution meter in "Persona 5" also increases.
The sixth installment from "Megami Tensei" is available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on Feb 14 for gamers in North America and Europe. The "Persona 5" started to be available in Japan last month.
