‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Update: Pokemon Buddy Feature & Increased Catch Rate A Flop? Game Not Popular Anymore; Getting Banned Soon?

The augmented reality game "Pokemon GO" is still on the top charts of the most played mobile games in present. There is no doubt that the game is a worldwide craze, but a recent report states that "Pokemon GO" has rapidly decreased its number of players. Critics say that this is because of the games' features and players do not find it fun in the long run.

According to a report from ABC, during the month of September, "Pokemon GO" earnings dropped from $16 million per day to $2 million per day. Its daily downloads also decreased rapidly by its highest point of 27 million to 700,000.

Because the number of "Pokemon GO" players decreased massively, some people even call the game "Pokemon Gone." The game was designed to be the same with the actual movie. However, there are a lot of features that are not available in the game, and that makes it boring.

The idea that "Pokemon GO" players can walk around and catch Pokemons and battle gyms is pretty good. The concept of the game is also simple, but a lot of players want to interact with other players. Some suggest that Niantic should put a Battle Mode or PVP mode.

Niantic also did not introduce new features quickly and it is also one of the main reasons "Pokemon GO" players got bored. The recent update that has the Pokemon Buddy feature and increase the catch rate of Pokemons has a very low impact on the players.

Some players also say that the "Pokemon GO" tracking system is useless because it cannot detect the exact location of a Pokemon even though the player is nearby. Player should walk around the map aimlessly to find the nearby Pokemons seen in the "sightings."

Niantic also updated "Pokemon GO" security features and disables rooted or jailbroken devices to play the game. This controversial update made a lot of players disappointed. Will there be a new update Niantic will release to hype up the players and lure back the ones that stopped playing? Stay tuned to GameNGuide for more "Pokemon GO" news and updates!
