"Pokken Tournament" recently launched another character to its growing roster, namely Scizor. The Steel-Bug Type Pokemon is yet to be made available to the Wii U, along with a handful other creatures.

As some may know, the Bandai Namco Entertainment merged fighting game "Pokken Tournament" has received quite the ovation from the fans with their character additions. Now, it has been made official that Scizor will be joining the mix, with a newly launched trailer highlighting the creature's moves.

According to Game Spot, the arcade version of "Pokken Tournament" welcomed Scizor not too far back from the time of this writing, with fans already getting their hands on the particular addition. As the trailer highlighted, Scizor brings about a series of ranged attacks, projectile aerial strikes and what seems to be a series of multi-hit combos.

Scizor, as many may know, utilizes flight at most -- especially for the "Pokken Tournament" roster. While the fans will benefit from the said character, there are those who may not like the idea that the character may not be in the Wii U version, as some earlier reports claimed. Nonetheless, fans and critics officially label "Pokken Tournament" as one of the best games on any platform, even as much as getting a 9/10 rating.

Other news talks about the rest of the Pokemon franchise receiving their share of the limelight as soon as they surface. Aside from "Pokken Tournament," "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are also being eyed to be the center of attention, given that a whole new sleuth of creatures is stepping forward. The Legendary Pokemon within it also present quite the interesting feats, to say the least, namely Lunala and Solgaleo, as soon as it releases next month.

That being said, "Pokken Tournament" looks quite neat for the time being, but as aforementioned, fans will have to wait for further announcement on the Wii U release of Scizor if there will indeed be. Keep posted for more updates and news here at GamenGuide.
