Samsung fans have been waiting eagerly to hear news about the Galaxy Tab S3 release date. As per rumors circulating all over the Internet, the premium tab is expected to be launched by the end of 2016. Moreover, fresh reports suggest that Samsung is rescheduling the launch of its tablets and mobiles after the Galaxy Note 7 debacle.
It is not surprising that the Korean tech giant has not revealed much about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. It has been seen earlier that the company loves keeping its tabs under wraps until release. A recently leaked image, reportedly of the Galaxy Tab S3, revealed that the tab could be similar to that of its predecessor in terms of looks.
A 4:3 aspect ratio, plastic back and Home button have been notice in the image. Other reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset, 4,000 mAh battery, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, writes TechAdvisor. Some of its specs may also be borrow from the Galaxy S7 handset.
Some tech enthusiasts believe that the tab may also be powered by an Exynos 8890 chipset as in Samsung Galaxy S7. The latter has received excellent reviews and hence experts believe that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also be able to make a mark and compete successfully with Apple iPad Air 2.
Samsung has to be careful with the pricing as the Note 7 blunder has resulted in Samsung incurring massive losses. Thus it would definitely want more and more people to buy the tab. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was priced at $399 for the 8-inch version and $499 for the 9.7-inch variant. A similar pricing may be expected for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.
