Latest 'Watch Dogs' Extended Gameplay Further Proves It's Actually 'Person of Interest: The Game' [TRAILER]

Ubisoft just put out a new extended gameplay trailer for "Watch Dogs", narrated from the point of view of Chicago's Central Operating System (it's the future, okay?), tracking protagonist Aiden Pearce as he engages on a mission Ubisoft showed a couple of months ago. Pearce hacks into bank accounts, identifies the potential victim and perpetrator of a small-time crime and evades the police in the aftermath of his vigilante justice, all with a nine-millimeter and a cell phone.

Replace "Aiden Pearce" with "Mr. Reese and Mr. Finch," and Chicago with New York, and you've got yourself the ongoing plot to CBS's popular "Person of Interest." Really, look it up. It's crazy.

The trailers offers, if not new gameplay, a solid look at the various forces observing and controlling Chicago's futuristic city-running networks and security systems. Pearce isn't the only one with his hand on the button.

'Watch Dogs' is slated for a "Holiday 2013" release on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC and next-generation consoles at an unknown date. PS4 and Microsoft's next Xbox release dates are, without coincidence, unknown as well.
