‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: Niantic To Give Gamers 24-Hour Window To Capture and Collect This Halloween! More Details Here

Niantic may be pondering on how to get more players to play “Pokemon Go” though using the Halloween season as a medium could be a good idea. With the game offering virtual sweet-tooths in Pokemon Candies, why not hold a special event this year?

It seems that Niantic has that planned and breadcrumbs have already been sent out via their official Facebook page. The post alone hints at seeing more pocket monster spawns with some new animation this Halloween. The company is expecting a lot of folks prowling the streets for this season of the spooks and it looks like gamers will once again be preoccupied with “Pokemon Go” along the way.

If this is the case, it begs to ask exactly where the special events will be held. Gyms and PokeStops headling the possible places where special spawns may be happening though lures can always help attract the pocket monsters if “Pokemon Go” players have them.

If that is the case, expect Niantic to get into the Halloween mood by applying a 24-hour window. Focus will likely be during the daytime in an effort to look out for the safety of “Pokemon Go” players though it may still depend on where the game is played in the world, Slash Gear reported.

Among the spawned “Pokemon Go” critters will likely be “Ghastly”, “Haunter” and/or “Gengar”, hopefully, ones that will not be hard to find. They may not be the legendaries or rares but then again Niantic can always do something outside the ordinary even if it sounds remotely happening.

Going back to the Facebook post of Niantic, it seems nothing more than a marketing ploy to get “Pokemon Go” players to go out and snap shots of their encounters. While it makes sense, there could be something more to that post for this year’s season of the spooks.
